Tours Special Tours Tsam Dance Festival Trip 27Sep

Price: ( 3 days and 2 nights )

Tsam is one of the Buddhist rituals and its origination and development are inevitably connected with Buddhist devotees and nations. It is a lively masked and costumed dance associated with some sects of Tibetan Buddhism and Buddhist festivals. The dance is accompanied by music played by monks using traditional Tibetan instruments. The dances often offer moral instruction relating to compassion for sentient beings and are held to bring merit to all who perceive them. The first tsam in Mongolia was performed in Erdenezuu Monastery in 1786.
