4 Days Nomadic mongolia tourI just got back from a tour with TTR Mongolia, and it was so far beyond my expectations, I can't tell you! Mongolia is one surprise after another! It is so beautiful while we were there in mid-June, 2019. We did a 4 day tour with TTR and they treated us like family. Rather than just feeling like tourists experiencing a cultural trip as outsiders, they took us to places that were the real deal. Ganaa (the handsome and charming driver) was such a gentleman and always made sure we were comfortable in the van with air conditioning, bottles of water, bathroom stops, snacks, and lots of ice cream! We slept at ger camps (felted yurts) that were comfortable, warm and just WOW! Super pretty yet rustic inside. The food at the ger camps was so good. (I never had any illness the whole time I was in Mongolia). The hosts at the ger camps where we stayed were so kind and such good cooks. All along the drive in the countryside you see herds of goats, sheep, colorful and stunningly beautiful horses with their colts drinking from lakes or streams, yaks (I'd never seen a yak) and even camels! Yes, camels were roaming around one of the temple/monasteries we visited! It was insane! We rode camels! So fun. Held an eagle! Adrenaline rush! The food blew me away with how good it was. The scariest thing I ate was cow tongue and it was good! They are great cooks and the restaurants we ate at were delicious. I highly recommend TTR, plus they are a low price! Loved every minute of our experience with TTR Mongolia. You will truly be immersed in the Mongolian experience and won't feel like an outsider. They were cheerful, funny, happy all the time, and kind. Plus, they were constantly taking pictures of us and making videos, and they are very talented at it! They will air drop them to your phone. We truly had the time of our lives and I cannot say enough praise about them. They will be our friends for life. Best wishes! Vickie Smoot
7 days Gobi Desert Safari In MongoliaWe both enjoyed the tour as we saw a lot in the short space of time. Since it was off season the gers were a mixture of good and not so good. We got off to a rough start but TTR and the guide made every effort to ensure that everyone was comfortable thereafter. TTR missed the mark on organization. It would have be better to let us know the daily schedule and timeframe each day and also a bit of information en-route to the sites. My friend and I were slow paced so we missed out on the information about the sites. Also showers would be better after the activities. Overall, we were satisfied. The landscape was breathtaking, the nomadic families were friendly and accommodating and we met some easygoing people the tour. The guide spoke very good English and the drivers were friendly. You’ll enjoy this tour if you don’t mind long drives on bumpy roads, and if you can tolerate basic pit latrines as well as limited showers. Nice glamping experience. Thank you TTR!
7 days Gobi Desert Safari In MongoliaWow just Wow! What a wonderful experience, from start to finish, it was wonderful. TTR Mongolia not only your tour agent they really do look after you like member of the family, airline I travel with lost my luggage but TTR Mongolia not only stepped in to try to sort things for me but unfortunately It wasn’t arrived in time but Tour manager Dijko, Ganna & Zaria help me with essentials and make sure that I will fully enjoy the Gobi safari, not only that Dijko continues to try to locate my luggage but informed the process. What a friendly bunch I almost forgotten my lost property & had wonderful time. My only regret is not to have spend more time. If you want to have real Gobi experience & want spend the time with real nomadic people & make unforgettable memories, Try TTR Mongolia, I highly recommend this tour agent. Thank you TTR Mongolia for given me the chance to have unforgettable memories
Khustai National Park TripAwesome trip. TTR Mongolia took such great care of us and were so fun to talk to. They stopped the car every time we saw horses, camels, herders, statues, etc along the way so we could snap pics! Khustai was gorgeous; the wildlife was beautiful, mountains so green, unique rock formations everywhere. The ger camp was clean, had a sand box, picnic areas, volleyball net, and a basketball court. We took a nap then walked to the sand dunes and played for hours. Rural and peaceful. The kids had a blast. There was so much to explore and see, we wish we could have done the 3 day trip. Comfortable beds, delicious food and snacks, friendly english-speaking workers. Met travelers from all over the world. I'd definitely come back to Khustai and do another trip with TTR Mongolia!
