Nadaam Festival & Gobi Tour
Mongolia's Naadam Festival, a traditional holiday and the largest celebration in the whole country, draws visitors from around the world for sports tournaments and cultural activities. The 3-day festival features traditional Mongolian sports like wrestling, horse racing, and archery. The festival’s opening ceremony is the highlight with many shows and artistic performances. Almost everyone dresses in their most beautiful and traditional outfits known as ‘Deel’, which are created in rich colors. Even though the main event is held in Ulaanbaatar, it is celebrated all over the country. After the few days of Nadaam celebration, we will continue our tour towards the Gobi Desert . You will discover all the unique sceneries and wildlife the Gobi Desert has to offer. Besides sightseeing and admiring the nature, we are planning some special activities, camel riding in the dunes, meeting and spending time with local nomadic families, hiking in Yolyn Am the Eagle Gorge. Different options are possible to spend the nights, many tourist ger camps on the way offer a very good comfort, good meals, hot showers. Another option is to spend the night with host families, it will be a more authentic experience. You’ll still have your own ger, and some are equipped with showers.

This is our most adventurous tour, be ready for 20 days of an unforgettable adventure experiencing the Mongolian life to the maximum. You will witness stunning scenery and a unique and welcoming culture. From the dunes and canyons of the Gobi Desert, to the blue clearwater of the Khuvsgul and White lakes, passing by the green grass of the central steppes. We will spend some time with nomadic families, take part in their daily activities and spend the nights in their host ger. 3 days of horse riding around the 8 lakes in the Orkhon Valley.
